It runs from a single PoE drop (IEEE 802.3af, Class 0) or a local USB-C 5V supply, and mounts behind the screen with the supplied hook \u0026amp; loop fasteners, one adapter per display. It is the right choice for bars, meeting rooms, classrooms, function rooms and media rooms where the display is the source, and where one cable per screen and a direct digital path matter more than an audio extractor, an analog adapter or a full AV-over-IP encoder.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe adapter accepts ARC audio from 32kHz to 192kHz at 16 or 24-bit. The USB-C port also gives a serial command interface for status, ARC re-trigger and firmware updates, and a green ARC LED confirms active audio at the display.
