4×2 HDMI 2.0 Matrix Switcher with WebGUI, Telnet & RS-232 Control

Basic 4×2 HDMI matrix switchers offer front panel and IR control — but commercial integrators increasingly require IP-based management for remote operation, diagnostics, and control system integration. The KanexPro HDMX42-18G delivers a full three-interface control suite — WebGUI, Telnet, and RS-232 — alongside front panel and IR, giving integrators complete flexibility to manage the unit from any network-connected device or third-party control system.

Supporting 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 with 18Gbps bandwidth and HDCP 2.2 compliance, the HDMX42-18G routes any of four HDMI sources to two independent displays at full 4K fidelity. Apple HDCP mode allows non-HDCP content from Apple and similar devices to display on non-HDCP screens without signal loss. Seven EDID presets — including sink-learned and resolution-specific options — handle mixed source and display environments. Compact half-rack form factor fits cleanly into any AV furniture or rack install.
