The KanexPro WP-EXTHDBTKIT is a single-gang HDMI 2.0 HDBaseT wall plate transmitter and receiver set for professional AV installations requiring robust signal extension with full bidirectional control. Supporting 18Gbps bandwidth with HDCP 2.2, it extends 4K/60Hz 4:4:4 up to 40 meters and 1080p/60 up to 70 meters over a single CAT5e/6 cable — with full bidirectional IR and RS-232 control signals riding the same cable. The included 24V HDBaseT receiver connects directly to displays or projectors.
Designed for courtrooms, boardrooms, classrooms, and control room applications where device control is as important as signal delivery, the WP-EXTHDBTKIT eliminates the need for a separate control cable run. Bidirectional IR allows display control from the source location; RS-232 enables integration with room control systems such as Crestron or AMX. Power over Cable (PoC) can be supplied from either the transmitter or receiver end, providing flexible installation options. Includes IR receiver and transmitter cables, Phoenix connectors, mounting ears, and a 24V/1A power adapter. CE, FCC, and UL certified.
