Two XLR Inputs onto Dante® and Two Dante® Feeds Back Out, at the Wall
Puts two mic or line inputs and two line outputs on the Dante® network at any wall position, over a single PoE cable. The AUD-DTE-WPXLR is a 2x2 analog XLR to Dante® converter that fits a standard US 2-gang Decora wall box. It draws 3.6W maximum as an IEEE 802.3af Class 1 powered device, and takes local 12VDC power where the switch has no PoE. Each XLR-F input accepts a balanced or unbalanced microphone or line source and has its own switched 48V phantom power. Each XLR-M output drives an amplifier, powered speaker or recorder at up to 18dBu. It is the right choice for lecture halls, worship stages, council chambers and divisible rooms, where a finished wall connection, phantom control at the plate and a single network drop matter more than a rack-mounted I/O box.
Built on the Dante® Ultimo 2x2 platform, the plate carries 2-channel PCM audio at 44.1, 48, 88.2 or 96kHz. It supports AES67 RTP transport for mixed Dante® and AES67 systems, and its device latency is configurable to 1, 2 or 5ms in Dante® Controller, where it is routed like any other Dante® endpoint to the room DSP, console or amplifier. Five-step input sensitivity and output gain controls set levels at the wall, and a backlit hard button on each input shows the phantom state without opening any software. Because both directions share one plate and one network port, a wall position that once needed a separate input adapter and output adapter, each with its own cable and PoE port, now needs one device and one Cat6 run.
