The KanexPro EXT-HDBT70C is an HDCP 2.2 compliant extender set consisting of a transmitter and receiver. It uses technology to transmit uncompressed, high-resolution 1080p/ 4K signals from transmitter to the receiver via a CAT5e/CAT6a cable at a distance of up to 70/40m. Moreover, the extender set supports PoC (power over cable) from either side of the sender or receiver, CEC, bi- directional RS232 & IR control.

Perfect for extending and routing digital signage applications, healthcare AV, control rooms, educational facilities, airports, commanding centers and home theater.
Please note: use a CAT5e/6 cable with low impedance STP(Shielded twisted pair) is recommended with proper grounding for excellent transmission of AV signals.

- Maximum transmission distance over a single Cat5e/6 cable: 70 meters for 1080p@60Hz/36-bit and 3D 1080p@30Hz/36-bit; 40 meters for 1080p@60Hz/48-bit, 1080p@120Hz/24-bit, 3D 1080p@60Hz/36-bit, and 4K2K@30Hz/24-bit.
- Supports PoC (Power Over Cable): connect a 12V/1A power supply to either the transmitter or the receiver, and the other unit does not require its own power supply.
- Bi-directional IR and RS-232 control-signal pass-through.
- ESD protection to IEC 61000-4-2: ±8 kV air-gap discharge, ±4 kV contact discharge.
- Data and connection status indicators report HDCP state and transmitter-to-receiver link quality.
- Compact black metal enclosure with mounting ears for flexible installation behind a display or in a rack.
