TV Sound onto Your Dante® Network as a Stereo Pair
Puts the audio a display plays or receives onto the Dante network, straight from the TV's HDMI ARC port. That covers the display's own apps and any streaming stick or set-top box plugged into the TV. The AUD-DTE-ARC takes two-channel PCM from the display's ARC output and converts it to two channels of Dante digital audio in the digital domain, with no analog stage in between. The adapter measures 4.53 × 1.57 × 1.10 in and draws 0.85W. It runs from a single PoE drop (IEEE 802.3af, Class 0) or a local USB-C 5V supply, and mounts behind the screen with the supplied hook & loop fasteners, one adapter per display. It is the right choice for bars, meeting rooms, classrooms, function rooms and media rooms where the display is the source, and where one cable per screen and a direct digital path matter more than an audio extractor, an analog adapter or a full AV-over-IP encoder.
The adapter accepts ARC audio from 32kHz to 192kHz at 16 or 24-bit. It provides Dante 2-channel output with AES67 at 44.1, 48, 88.2 or 96kHz, and device latency can be set to 1, 2 or 5ms. Routing and latency are set in Dante Controller alongside the rest of the system. The USB-C port also gives a serial command interface for status, ARC re-trigger and firmware updates, and a green ARC LED confirms active audio at the display. Its strongest differentiator is where it takes audio from: it captures what the display returns, so audio that never passes through a source rack still reaches the Dante DSP or amplifier.
